Tomorrow marks the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have not been shy on this blog or in any of my social networking areas about how near and dear to my heart this cause is. I hope that during this month (and year round) we can continue to take steps which bring us closer to creating a world without breast cancer. I am going dedicate my blogs this month to increasing awareness, bringing good-to-know information; I hope that everyone I reach through this blog and my social networking will continue to pass on the information to help spread as much awareness as we can.
Today I wanted to share with you that the efforts of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure are concentrated on creating a global awareness, raising our virtual voices around the world to take action. Every 69 seconds somewhere in the world a woman dies of breast cancer. Join the efforts today, help to turn the virtual world pink. Make this your facebook status or re-tweet this (use the hashtag #fightbreastcancer on your tweets), help us to increase awareness of this disease to a global level.
Visit the 69-seconds webpage and be sure to sign the petition that is going to the UN General Assembly. Let's show our support on a global scale!
